Moving from Goodreads? In Goodreads go to My Books → Import and Export → Export Library, download the CSV, then upload it here. We bring across your shelves, ratings, reviews, both your dates, and your custom shelves (as tags) — nothing left behind.
Your books are yours. Download your whole library as a CSV — it works as a backup, re-imports into Cove perfectly, and is accepted by Goodreads and StoryGraph.

Four ways, all behind + Add Book: search by title, author or ISBN, scan a book's barcode with your camera, import your Goodreads CSV (below), or add manually if a book genuinely can't be found.
Moving it to Finished starts the Finish Line: you rate it, place it on your taste graphs, and get a card worth keeping. Those placements are what power your stats and recommendations.
Safely in your Cove account — they sync across every device you sign in on. You can export everything to CSV any time from "Import & export".
